FEP ENCAPSULATED O-RINGS: THE ULTIMATE SHIELD FOR CRITICAL SEALING

ENCAPSULATED O-RING

Unlike traditional seals, our encapsulated O-rings feature a dual-component construction designed for zero-failure performance:

  1. The High-Performance Core: Available in Silicone (for extreme temperature flexibility) or FKM/Viton (for superior compression set resistance). This core acts as a continuous spring, maintaining a tight seal under pressure.

  2. The Seamless FEP Jacket: A 100% seamless outer layer of Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP). This "shield" protects the inner elastomer from chemical attack, ensuring the seal remains intact where others would swell, harden, or brittle.

1. Universal Chemical Compatibility

The FEP outer jacket is virtually inert. It resists almost all industrial chemicals, solvents, and corrosive acids, making it the ideal "one-size-fits-all" solution for complex processing lines.

2. Exceptional Temperature Range

Engineered to perform in the toughest climates, our seals maintain their integrity across a massive thermal spectrum:

  • Silicone Core: –60°C to +205°C (–75°F to +400°F)

  • FKM (Viton) Core: –20°C to +204°C (–4°F to +400°F)

3. Low Friction & Non-Stick Surface

The smooth, low-friction surface of FEP prevents "stiction" (static friction) during equipment startup and ensures easy installation, reducing the risk of seal damage during assembly.

4. Sanitary & High-Purity Compliance

Naturally physiologically indifferent, our FEP encapsulated rings are perfect for FDA-regulated environments, including pharmaceutical manufacturing, food processing, and beverage production.

APPLICATIONS

  • Chemical Processing: Reliable sealing for aggressive pumping and metering.

  • Pharmaceutical & Biotech: Ideal for Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Steam-in-Place (SIP) systems.

  • Oil & Gas: High-temperature valve sealing and petrochemical refining.

  • Food & Beverage: Resistant to oils, fats, and flavorings that degrade standard rubber.
